The Idea

We believe that a public coworking space in the Vermont Arts Exchange in North Bennington, Vermont would be an excellent shared resource for creative community-minded professionals to work to create a more vibrant community and economy in a rural, village setting.

The Specifics

We would use our funding to do finish work in the space such as painting and the purchase of some beautiful drafting stools for a well designed but functional factory-like, professional creative setting.

This is a wonderful idea with super strong promise for its full realization built in. That is to say that Amy Anselmo, the conceiver of this idea, is an amazing, energetic organizer, passionate about community, and the betterment of the world. The space itself matches that promise. It is the perfect place for the realization of an important mission.
